I’ve already posted an initial version of this piece, this is a revised and slightly longer version. It’s a short and simple mystery story but the mystery is not of the usual kind. That’s all I can say. I’m not normally one for writing romance but this is bitter-sweet. I hope you don’t find too cheesy/corny, if you do let me know!

A horror flash-fiction. The theme is disturbing and sensitive so I have included a writers note below. Firstly, it is a horror story. I am a big lover of horror stories. The first (longer-length) short story I ever completed. It starts as a dark and slightly whimsical fairy-tale but turns into a dark psychological tale with an intended underlying message.
